September 11: Controlled by Love (Romans 12)
This chapter discusses obeying authority, loving others as fulfillment of the law, and living with anticipation and a sense of urgency. As Christians, it is important that everything we say and do communicates clearly that we love God and others. This is such a contrast to the actions of September 11 where terrorists made choices to submit to the authority of their faith and the called for actions were certainly not loving to others. The greatest commandment (love God) and the second (love people) is evidence of genuine Christianity.

College/Young Adult Class

Sabbath School Class Changes
Several Sabbath School classes are moving beginning this weekend. Couples Connection is moving to Andy's Office, The adult class is moving from 308 to 301, the High School class is moving to 308, the new College/Young Adult class will meet in 305, and the Women of the Word class is moving to John's Office.
Living Your Strengths
The Living Your Strengths small group begins their next 7-week session on September 11, at 10:00 am, in Room 201 and will meet every Sabbath morning through October 23. Two more LYS classes have been scheduled for January 15 - February 26, and April 2 - May 14. Each 7-week session will meet every Sabbath morning from 10:00-11:15 a.m. For more information and to reserve your spot contact Shawna Wood at shawna@hospitalchurch.org.

Adventurers, Pathfinders, and the fellowship dinner will resume September 1 on a twice a month schedule (first and third Wednesday of every month). Marked for Life and Prayer Meeting will continue to meet every week.
